Damon A. Colangelo is an associate in the firm’s Miami, Florida office. Damon’s practice includes all areas of civil litigation, with focus on catastrophic injury litigation, commercial litigation, construction litigation, real estate litigation, premises liability, products liability, and labor and employment. He has represented numerous Fortune 500 corporations throughout his career, and continues to do so today. Prior to joining Wadsworth Huott, Damon held associate positions at an AM Law 100 firm, a national labor and employment defense firm, and a local litigation boutique. He has significant experience representing both companies and individuals.

Damon earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where he majored in history and was a four-year member of the ZBT fraternity, Texas Lambda Chapter. Upon graduation from UT, he attended the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor with honors. While at UF, Damon was an officer and active participant with the Trial Team.

Damon is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, as well as in the Federal Southern and Northern Districts of Florida. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Dade County Bar Association. A native of Miami, Damon is an active member of the Miami Country Day School Alumni Association, and regularly contributes his time to numerous local causes.
