Brian J. Huott is a partner of the firm’s West Palm Beach, Florida office. Mr. Huott has been practicing all aspects of insurance defense litigation, focusing in the area of Workers’ Compensation throughout the state of Florida. He has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation. Mr. Huott has a working knowledge of the Spanish language.

Mr. Huott graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. He then attended St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree. While attending St. Thomas University, Mr. Huott was a member of Phi Alpha Delta and The Federal Society.

Mr. Huott has many years of experience in Workers’ Compensation defense litigation with many clients covering the entire state of Florida. He frequently lectures and conducts educational seminars for employers and carriers on the latest case law, statutory amendments, and ethics and threshold issues concerning Workers’ Compensation. Mr. Huott is a state certified instructor providing continuing education credits for Florida licensed adjusters. Mr. Huott continues to educate insurance adjusters with seminars including “Underutilized Defenses in Workers’ Compensation Claims”, “Overview of Longshoreman and Harbor Workers’ Act” and “Employer/Carrier Immunity & Liability Issues”.

Mr. Huott is a member of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association and Palm Beach County Bar Associations. He was profiled in Best’s List of Recommended Insurance Attorneys and Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory. In addition, he is a Florida state certified arbitrator for Better Business Bureau, Lemon Law and is certified in small business consumer disputes.
